STATE OF THE NATION: President Tinubu Gives Progress Report, Urge Nigerians To Remain Calm

DELTA – COMMITTED to his mantra of Renewed Hope Agenda for all Nigerians, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu gives progress report on his ten (10) to policies said his administration done well in Agriculture, education and hwalth sector.

Giving his progress report on his top ten (10) polices after 12 months in as the president of federal republic of Nigeria, he said his administration has initiated student loan scheme for all Nigeria students in tertiary institution of learning.

According to Mr. President, about 300,000 students have already benefited from the students loan scheme with all beneficiaries getting a monthly stipend of N20,000 as part of the scheme to support their academic pursuits through @NELFUND.

Commenting on his Consumer Credit Scheme (CCS), he said the phase one of the consumer credit scheme which aims to provide easy access to credit for consumers of locally produced goods had seen over 50,000 beneficiaries as civil servants were targeted in the first phase through @CrediCorpNG

President Bola Tinubu disclosed that his administration has approved a sum of N50bn for the commencement of the non-kinetic initiative, in the Northern part of Nigeria with Kaduna being the first state to benefit adding that it has led to massive reduction in cases of insecurity in the state and many others across the country.

Speaking on his RENEWED HOPE ESTATES scheme, Mr. President discloses that thousands of homes are currently being built across different states of the federation with the first set of houses will soon be handed over to successful applicants.

It would be recall that 1,200 houses were launched by President Bola Tinubu in Karsana area of Abuja earlier in 2024 while same has been done by the Hon. Minister of Housing across other states where a minimum of 250 houses are being built.

President Tinubu’s BOI-FG MSME LOANS/GRANTS Scheme, more than 700,000 Nigerians have benefited from the N50,000 grants while others got MSME loans from the BOI-FG scheme. Phase two of the scheme is expected to commence soon.

While in DIGITAL PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE Scheme Nigeria government led by Predident Bola Tinubu has made a tremesous achivements as Nigeria’s digital public infrastructure plans have seen immense progress over the past 12 months with the identity and payment stages successfully implemented.

According to the report, over 110m people are already onboarded on the National Identification Number(NIN) with the payment system also seeing immense progress over the past few months. The next phase seeks to enable different digital systems to communicate effectively, facilitating smoother government services and fostering interoperability. The introduction of the National Identity Card which will be made available to the public in the coming months is expected to take Nigeria’s DPI to the next level.

The report says President Tinubu 3 MILLION TECHNICAL TRAINING (3MTT) initiative has seen immense progress since its introduction early last year. The Cohort 3 of the initiative has already commenced taking the total number of beneficiaries to around the 200,000 marks.

The report highlight Mr. President administration plans towards ‘END HUNGER INITIATIVE’ added that President Tinubu administration has made tremendous efforts towards achieving food security in Nigeria. While the Dry Season farming commenced during the course of the year alongside supply of fertilizers and other agricultural supplies to states, schemes such as the Special Agro Processing Zones and the Green Imperative which will kick off early this year are expected to effectively ramp up local production of foods which will aid in achieving the End Hunger Initiative.

HEALTH SECTOR RENEWAL COMPACT of Mr. President has seen immense progress over the past 12 months with the introduction of several reforms by the administration according to the
Executive order to waive import duty on healthcare equipments.

These initiatives of President Tinubu were aim to astronomically improve the healthcare system while unleashing the potentials it has to contribute to GDP growth and reduce unemployment in Nigeria. The report stated.
