The Social-Political and Economic Apex Umbrella Body of the South-South Geopolitical Zone in Nigeria, Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, felicitated the newly sworn-in Governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy Governor, Hon. Dennis Idahosa.
PANDEF, in a press release signed by its national publicity secretary & spokesman, Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Christopher Ominimini, urged the newly sworn Governor and his team to always have the interest of the Edo people who voted for them overwhelmingly paramount in their hearts at all times.
PANDEF noted that the peaceful and successful inauguration of the Governor and his deputy is a testament that heaven has a blessing over their leadership in Edo State in a time like this when economic recession is facing many nations of the World.
“PANDEF, therefore, advises the Executive Governor and his team to always have the interest of the Edo people who voted for them overwhelmingly paramount at heart at all times.
“Without mincing words, PANDEF believes that the duo of the Governor and his deputy who had the mandate of the Edolites to represent them at the Red and Green Chambers of the national assembly before being reelected into this new but higher leadership role of the State shall perform credibly.
“The PANDEF leadership led by Amb. Godknows Igali Ph.D, a seasoned Diplomat and Administrator per excellence shall constantly liaise with the newly inaugurated Governor of Edo State and other Governors of the region to achieve a sustainable and holistic development of the Niger Delta”.
