Yuletide: Chief Akpos Commends Gov. Oborevwori Developmental Strides, Security of Lives, Properties

DELTA – THE Executive Assistant EA Oil & Gas to the executive governor of Delta State, Chief Edafevwotu Samson Akpos has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s developmental strides and security of lives and properties in the state.

Akpos, who is the former chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), told journalists that since the inception of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as the executive governor of Delta State, the state has witnessed tremendous infrastructural developments across the length and brength of the state.

According to him, the ongoing massive flyover bridges in Effurun and Warri are testamental that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is committed to the overall development of the state and poised to take the state to its enviable place in the comity of states in the state.

Speaking further, Akpos noted that since the governor assumed office, issues of kidnapping, robbery, and vandalization of oil facilities have reduced to their barest minimum, giving rise to the quantum of oil and gas production in the state.

While calling on all Deltans to support the Governor’s administration to bring more dividends of democracy to all Deltans, he noted that the present government of the state led by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has positively affected the lives of Deltans and residents of the area.

“The conducive environment provided by the present administration of the state has promoted peaceful coexistence between construction companies operating in the state and their host communities.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a great asset, and God’s sent to Deltans to ameliorate the sufferings of Deltans; he has done well in road construction, education, security, and built bridges among communities”.

While expressing implicit confidence in the capacity of the governor to transform the state from where he met it, he expressed hope that there shall be more harvest of projects completed and developments in all three senatorial districts of the state in 2025 and beyond.
