The newly sworn-in President General (PG) of the Afiesere Community, Mr. Luke Umukoro, has outlined his vision and commitment to transform the community members of the community to it’s enviable position.
Umukoro reel out his visions while addressing a gathering of community members, guests, members of the press, security men, and distinguished individuals at the Afiesere Community Town Hall; Umukoro expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and pledged to serve with integrity and dedication.
Umukoro, in his inaugural address, after taking oath of office alongside his executive members, acknowledged the achievements of the outgoing President General, Amb. Richard Oborikpo Ovweghrederohwo, and his executive committee.
He stressed the importance of unity, inclusivity, and community engagement in addressing the challenges and opportunities facing Afiesere at present.
Umukoro emphasized his commitment to listening to the concerns and ideas of community members, fostering unity and inclusivity, promoting economic empowerment and social welfare, as well as enhancing the community’s infrastructure and services.
He called upon all residents to join him in building a brighter future for Afiesere by volunteering their time and talents and holding him accountable for the community’s progress.
Umukoro extended his gratitude to the community and invoked blessings upon Afiesere, expressing his confidence in a promising future for the community under his leadership.
Many community members who spoke to our correspondent on the sideline, praised Umukoro’s vision and his call for collective action to make Afiesere a beacon of hope, prosperity, and harmony.
The President General’s speech marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Afiesere Community, infused with a spirit of unity, progress, and service.
They added that as the community embarks on this journey under the new leadership, they look forward to a future characterized by growth, development, and a shared commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Afiesere.
