UGHELLI – The President of the National Coalition of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, also head of the Association of Family Mayoral Crown, AFMC, His Excellency Eshanekpe Israel a.k.a Akpodoro has given reason for the series of attacks by ‘reactionary elements’ against the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, was due to his prudent management of the parastatal since his assumption of office.
Akpodoro, in a statement made available Rainbow Newspaper at the weekend, disclosed the reason why the administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Ptogramme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro was massively attacked by some reactionary elements.
According to him, “Dr. Otuaro’s prudent management of available resources, to effectively run the office as against known norm of corruption is causing a ‘damaging bellyache’ to those who see themselves as ‘demigods’ in the affairs of the PAP,” adding, “gone were the days the management of the programme roll out drums and dolled out millions of naira to celebrate birthday for individuals.”
Akpodoro, was reacting to what he described as a malicious call for the sack of Dr Otuaro, who is barely nine months old in the saddle, asserting that, “The programme has suffered years of collective looting by past managers of the programme and their collaborators, who sang their praises while they benefitted from the slush funds at the detriment of public good.”
Akpodoro, noted that some persons positioned themselves in the programme to collaboratively loot the Amnesty Office with a willing Administrator, but unfortunately, those forces found Dr. Otuaro is impervious as he stands on the process of building a strong and reliable Amnesty Programme where everyone is treated equally no matter how highly “you delusionally place yourself.”
Recall that, a group: National Coalition of Strategic Governance, NCSG, had in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, one Kola Mustafa, petitioned President Bola Tinubu and National Security Adviser to the President, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, called for the suspension of Dr. Otuaro for allegedly leaking confidential documents to his allies, which was allegedly published on a Facebook page.
Describing the group as a bunch of faceless individuals who are making “efforts at disparaging the Amnesty boss” for reason of blackmail by sponsors of the libelous petition, adding, “we know the sponsor of the lies against Dr. Otuaro. It is borne out of envy, jealousy and criminal concupiscence against High Chief Government Ekpemukpolo a.k.a Tompolo the ‘GOC.’ and his Tantita Security Services Nig LTD, TSSNL through which he has chased the erstwhile untouchables out of the business of oil theft in the Niger Delta creeks.”
“They would stop at nothing to attack the integrity of whoever is linked with Tompolo, whose shoes, the forces of retrogression, cannot lace in their life time.”
The Mustafa statement also alleged that billions of naira were expended in bribe money that aided Otuaro’s appointment into the office of Administrator, a development Akpodoro said is disgraceful for a petition writer to mention without a shred of proof; disclosing such libel could trigger litigation but for the fact that the group is “cowardly faceless” with the sponsor hiding like a cat.
He called on President Tinubu to disregard such “puerile and badly concocted self-serving malicious petition tendenciously written by its author to drive home his greedy demands from the Administrator.”
“Mallam Ribadu,” according to the Mayor, “is vast in security expertise to discern the inherent evils in the mind of the acclaimed author of the petition and trash it immediately.”
“No amount of subterfuge, blackmail and attacks can stop Dr. Otuaro from repositioning the PAP and turning it into both regional and national pride. We know that the attackers are licking their wounds from the bloody nose TSSNL is giving oil thieves in the Nigerian waters and soon the oil thefts will be exterminated from both upstream and downstream of the Nigerian petroleum industry,” Mayor Akpodoro concluded.
