*As colleagues, friends reel encomiums on him

ASABA – The Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda’s Special Assignment Team leader, ASP Julius Robinson at the weekend celebrated his jubilee birthday with orphans and less privileges in Delta State.

The most celebrated police officer by print, radio, television, and social media in recent times followed his great performance as leader of Delta State CP- Special Assignment Team at Mother of Divine Grace Orphanage Home, Asaba the Delta State capital doled material items and food items worth hundreds of naira to the orphans and less privileged.

Speaking at the well-attended ceremony by creams of high-rank police officers across the state, the celebrant, ASP Julius Robinson thanked God for His mercies and special grace upon his life and families.

Speaking on why he decided to identify with the orphans on the occasion of his Golden Jubilee birthday celebration, he shocked the Mammoth crowd when he disclosed that he (ASP Julius Robinson) is an orphan.

Continued, he said, “As an orphan, he knows what it takes an orphan to survive. I know their pains and suffering; today, I am here to identify with them in their pains and suffering and to ameliorate their sufferings in my little way.

“I know the pains and sufferings of an orphan, how much you missed your biological parents and siblings in a time like this; I am one of you, am here to give you a message of hope and assurance of brighter furniture,” he said.

It would be recalled that the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, upon his resumption of duty as the 22nd Commissioner of Police Delta State on 1st February 202,4, met the state with cases of kidnapping and armed robbery in Ughelli, Warri, Sape, le, and environs.

The CP, in his wisdom, deployed a Special Team to Ughelli, headed by ASP Julius Robinson, with a clear mandate to flush out criminals and to ensure the residents from the affected local government areas of state sleep with their two eyes closed with the assistance of the Divisional Police Officers, DPO in the LGAs.

Celebrating with colleagues and friends at Ughelli, the administrative headquarters of Ughelli’s north local government area, he was accorded with high ovation and encomiums as they danced pop.

The peak of the event is the cutting of the Golden Jubilee cake to the glory of God Almighty.
