APC’s Primaries: Akpos Congratulates Gov. Oborevwori, APC Senatorial, Reps, Assembly Candidates For Their Victory

UGHELLI – Governor Sheriff Oborevwori Executive Assistant on Oil and Gas matters, Chief Edafevwotu Akpos, has congratulated the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections.
Akpos also extended congratulations to other APC candidates who emerged from the party’s primaries across Delta State, describing their victories as a reflection of the party’s growing acceptance and internal cohesion.
In his message, he congratulated Sen. Ede Dafinone – APC Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Rev.Francis Waive – APC House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Mathew Omonade – APC House of Assembly Candidate, Ughelli North Constituency I and Mr Joseph Okoro – APC House of Assembly Candidate, Ughelli North Constituency II.
His words, “The peaceful conduct of the primaries and the emergence of these candidates show that the APC in Delta State is united and ready to serve the people”.
“Governor Oborevwori’s leadership and the calibre of candidates across the senatorial and assembly seats give the party a strong platform to deliver on its promises to Deltans.”
He noted that the mix of experienced and new candidates positions the APC to address key issues of development, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and economic growth across the state.
Akpos called on party faithful and supporters to close ranks behind all APC candidates and work towards a peaceful and successful campaign in 2027.
He added that continuity in governance, backed by a strong legislative team, would accelerate the delivery of democratic dividends to communities across the Delta.
