Countdown To 2027: NDC Agbarha, Ogor, Evwreni Wards Endorse Obi, Iyovwaye, Omo-Agege, Ominimini, Idovwa
UGHELLI – Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Agbarha-otor, Ogor and Evwreni endorsed Mr Peter Obi for President, Mr Chris Iyovwaye for Governor, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege for Senate (Delta Central Senatorial District), Chief Dr Christopher Ominimini Obieuwevbi for Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency, and Mr Jimmy Idiovwa for Delta State House of Assembly Ughelli constituency 1.

The endorsement was made during the party’s Ward -to- consultation at Agbarha-otor, Edjekota-Ogor and Evwreni ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking separately during the consultation, the trio of the former Deputy Senate President in the 8th Assembly, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief Dr Christopher Obiuwevwi Ominimini, and Mr Jimmy Idiovwa promised to bring dividends of democracy to their constituents if elected.

Speaking further, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege regretted bringing Sen. Ede Dafinone and Rt. Hon. Francis Waive to represent the good people of Delta Central at the red and green chambers of the National House of Assembly.
His words, “I today sincerely regretted my mistakes of forcing Sen. Ede Dafinone and Rt. Hon. Francis Waive to the good people of Delta Central.
“I want to tender an unreserved apology to the people of Delta Central Senatorial District for nominating incompetent persons to represent them at the national Assemblies.
“I have come to return them. Never shall people of their type represent the good people of Delta Central. We have once made the mistake, we will not allow it to be repeated again in the annals of Delta Central and Delta State as a whole.
“Their tenures witness zero development, for good three years they couldn’t influence tangible and meaningful development to the people of the Delta Central Senatorial District”.
While promising the Delta Central Senatorial District massive developments and empowerment if elected, he said, he doubled his efforts double his achievements when he was Deputy Senate President of the 8th Assembly.
“If elected, I will liaise with my colleagues to attract companies, industries, development, and empowerment to our communities, women and our teaming youths”.
While calling for unity and intensified grassroots mobilisation, he urged the party faithful to queue behind all NDC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
“Vote Peter Obi for President, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege for Senate, Ominimini for House of Representatives (Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu federal constituency), and Jimmy Idiovwa for House of Assembly, Ughelli constituency 1.
According to Ominimini and Idiovwa, their missions to the House of Representatives and House of Assembly are to rewrite the narratives of Ughelli/Udu federal constituency and Ughelli North constituency 1.

“If elected to the federal House of Representatives to represent the good people of Ughelli/Udu federal constituency, I will bring bills that will favour the people of the constituency. I will not go there to sleep; I will consult and liaise with colleagues to bring succour to my people.
“I will listen to the yearnings of my people, I will bring developments and empowerments that will ameliorate the sufferings of people”, declared Ominimini.
On his part, the House of Assembly hopeful, Jimmy Idiovwa, assured the constituents of Ughelli North constituency 1 of total development, saying that in his tenure, if elected, the constituency will wear a new face.
