2027: APC Ughelli North Chairman, Ofomukoro, Woos Party Faithful To Support All APC Candidates

UGHELLI – The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC Ughelli North LGA, Olorogun Olerhimena Lucky Ofomukoro (JP) has called on all APC faithful and stakeholders to unite and support all candidates of the party in the forthcoming 2927 general elections.
Ofomukoro made the appeal during the inauguration of APC Evwerni Ward Units Executives and LGA Ward-to-Ward tour at Evwerni Town on Saturday, 27th 2026, urged all party faithful to recommit themselves to the party decision and warned against anti-party activities.
He called on all political appointees and stakeholders to rally their grassroots supporters at the unit level to elect all APC candidates who emerged from the consensus primary elections, including President Bola Ahmad Tinubu for president, Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for Delta State Governor, Senator Ede Dafinone for Delta Central Senatorial seat, Rt. Hon. Francis Waive for Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency, and Hon. Matthew Onojighofia Omonade, Esq. for Ughelli North Constituency 1.
Speaking during the well attended ceremony, Chairman of the Delta State Universal Basic Education Board, Chief Samuel Mariere, revealed plans by leaders of the party to implement a large-scale empowerment program for loyal party members across the State.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Ward, Mr Orunuaduvwe Godspower, who inaugurated the Units executive members, advised them to recruit more members to themselves at their various units.
Earlier, Ofomukoro cautioned against pulling-him-syndrome of leaders because of personal grievance capable of affecting the party’s chances of winning the 2027 general elections.
