2027 Ughelli/Udu Federal Constituency: Ominimini Gets Nod, Blesses Of APC Elders, Leaders, LGA Exco

UGHELLI – AHEAD of the 2027 Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency race, a front line aspirant for the Ughelli/Udu Federal House of Representative seat, Chief Dr Ominimini Obiuwevbi on Tuesday April 14, 2026, he gets the nod and blessings of the elders, leaders, and Ughelli North LGA executive members amid wide jubilation.
The House of Representatives hopeful got the nod and blessings of the leadership of APC yesterday when he declared his intention to contest the seat of Ughelli North, South and Udu federal constituency to elders, leaders and local government area executive members at Chief Engr. Joshua Asah’s residence, Ughelli.
While declaring his intention, the 2023 general elections Delta central coordinator for APC, Dr Ominimini outlined his plans and programs for the good people of the federal constituency if elected.
Ominimini, assured that if elected he will bring industries and overall developments that will change the narrative of the people of Ughelli/Udu federal constituency and the entire Urhobo nation as a whole.
While lambasting the sitting member representing the constituency in the green chamber, he noted that the Ughelli/Udu federal constituency has enough oil and gas companies to transform the constituency for the good of the constituents.
While calling on all constituents of the Ughelli/Urdu federal constituency to cast their votes for him in the forthcoming House of Representatives election, he said, he will replicate the good gestures of the immediate past Deputy Senate President (DSP), Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege in the green chamber if elected.
“I offer myself to serve my good people of Ughelli North, South and Urdu federal constituency, to bring dividends of democracy and renew hope of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to the Ughelli/Udu federal constituency and Urhobo nation as a whole.
“If elected I will lias with the oil & gas and other companies operating in the constituency to give gainful and meaningfully employments to the teaming youths and women of the constituency.
“Ughelli/Udu federal constituency deserve gone roads, federal institutions and other federal parastatals because the constituency contributed meaningfully to the country’s economy”.
It would be recalled that the former DESOPADEC commissioner has been leading the Urhobo course for the development of Urhobo Nation, he is the Chairman of the committee for the creation of Urhobo State, Chairman Urhobo Oil and Gas Nationality (UROAGAN) and the Spokesman/publicity of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF).
While offered their consents and blesses, LGA elders, leaders and the executive council of the ALL Progressives Congress (APC) led by Chief Engr. Joshua Asah and Prophet Rukevwi Okiti promised to support him in his quest to represent the federal constituency at the National Assembly (NASS).
Among chieftain of APC present are; Engr. Joshua Asah, Prophet Rukevwi Okiti, Chief Pius Ovbije, Hon. Rufus Akpodiete, Chief Dogood Efenogo, Chief Francis Egodotaye, Chief Akpude, Chief Olowo Matthias, Chief David Onojeharho, Comr. Augustine Akpubi, Dr Ediri Diodemise.

Ejomafuvwe Iboyi, Comr. Itebu Emmanuel, Comr. Apare Fidelis, Mr Monday Agbaran, Comr Obiuwevbi Alex, Rtn Udi Clement, and many others.
The peak of the event is the victory prayers offered by the joint elders, leaders and LGA APC Executive members.
