…Says he is a political stabilizer and National conscience builder

DELTA – The apex socio-political body of the South-South region, Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), has commended Nigeria’s senate president, Sen. Godswill Akpabio, at 62, described him as a dependable leader, Nigeria’s political stabilizer, and national conscience builder.
PANDEF, in a press statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Dr. Obiuwevbi Ominimini, made available to Rainbow Newspaper, stated that Sen. Godswill Akpabio, as the president of Nigeria Senate at a time like this when the whole world is experiencing an economic meltdown, is a great asset and a blessing to the country.

While rejoicing Sen. Godswill Akpabio at 62, the statement read in part;

“In this given time of Nigeria as a Nation where there is a global economic meltdown, the Nigeria Senate under the leadership of Sen. Godswill Akpabio has done well by stabilizing the legislatures to play a significant role in public spending of institutions and government and making laws in advancing the public good.

“PANDEF under the Chairmanship of Amb. Godknows Igali commends the Senate president for bringing sound and healthy leadership between the Red and the Green Chambers.

“Amb Igalli, a renowned administrator and Diplomat who is the National Chairman of the Niger Delta Socio-political apex umbrella body, PANDEF, also commends the Senate President as Chairman of the National Assembly in maintaining a cordial and peaceful connection with the executive members without compromising the independent of the legislature.

PANDEF woos all Niger Deltans in particular and Nigerians at large to continue to pray for Sen. Akpabio, who is the highest political office holder from the South-South Geo-political zone of Nigeria, to continue to succeed as his successes as president of the Senate, shall have an overall positive impact on not just Niger Delta only but Nigeria at large.
