Ogboru boastfully created the unconstitutional so-called College of Leaders (CoL) in 2019 solely to fight Omo-Agege. When the fight he called for started, he was flatly defeated in the congresses. He then went to court and lost too.
Unable to bear the shame of losing a battle he declared, he went into an unholy alliance with Okowa and Sheriff and was rewarded with both money and inconsequential political appointments.
Nobody is bothered about his so-called return with poor dance steps by neophytes. His assignment to disrupt APC’s governorship run in Delta will not fetch him a Kobo. It will be scuttled with serious consequences for him and his enablers. Of course, his senatorial ambition is dead on arrival despite Dafinone’s sad naivety. His defeat this time will be worse than the last one.
If Ogboru wants any respect, he must commit to due process and tame his fragile ego to accept the bitter outcomes of the high-stakes politics that lie ahead.
