The DG NYSC who asserted in an interview with journalists during the official closing ceremony of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course for Corps Members deployed to Nasarawa State, held at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Keffi on Tuesday, stated that federal government has always taken the plights of the corps members as a priority.
In his words,” While, for now, we are expecting and hoping that the federal government will do something about it.
They have always been doing something about it because whenever there is an increase in the minimum wage, the federal government, on its own, looks at the plights of corps members.

“Besides that, we have issued them with pamphlets on security matters, and we also talk to them on issues that are not expected of them to take, particularly about night traveling and also not boarding vehicles from the roadsides,” the DG NYSC states.
