U3 2027: House Of Representatives Hopeful Dr. Akpodiete Empowers PDP Leaders With Cash

UDU – Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, a House of Representatives aspirant for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency, Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete, empowered over fifteen PDP leaders with cash.

The HoR hopefuls dole out the whopping cash during the U3 Local Government Executive Empowerment and Leadership Summit cum leadership training on preparation for the 2027 elections held at the PDP secretariat, Otor-Udu, Delta State.

According to the donor, the ideal of the leadership summit and training was to prepare the leaders adequately for the task ahead of them as the preparation for the 2027 general elections gathered momentum.

Speaking further, he said, today we have empowered over fifteen (15) leaders from the three local government areas of U3, who have been trained and empowered. They will, in turn, train others ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Responding on behalf of the LGA acting chairmen of the PDP, Hon Daniel Emaye praised the kind gesture of Dr. Olotu Akpodiete, noting that the training impacted on the leaders will help to shape the future of the party and also the political landscape of Delta State, he noted.

While urging all beneficiaries to make good use of the knowledge and training received, Emaye noted that the focus of PDP in Delta State is to take over its place in the state.

It would be recalled that the House of Representatives aspirant is poised to rescue power from the incumbent member representing the U3 at the green chamber, Hon. Rev. Francis Waive.

People Democratic Party (PDP) faithful present during the leadership summit described Hon. Rev. Francis Waive as a non-performing member in the green chamber who has returned Ughelli and Udu federal constituency to the dark age.
