UDU – As part of activities marking the 7th anniversary of Olotu & Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete Foundation (OERAF), the Executive Director of Olotu and Ekuogbe Rowland Akpodiete Foundation, Dr. Olotu Akpodiete JP distributed over 100 health insurance cards to beneficiaries of the foundation across Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

While distributing the Health Insurance Cards (HIC) at the Ubogo community town hall, Dr. Akpodiete appreciated the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his healthcare policy, aimed to improve the well-being of Deltans.

He also commended the Director General of Delta State Contributory Health Commission, Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, for effectively implementing the Governor’s M.O.R.E Agenda mantra.

He noted that many Deltans are still unaware of the benefits of medical health insurance and encouraged everyone to take advantage of the healthcare policy.

Dr. Oke Ikolo, who was a guest at the event, enlightened the beneficiaries on how to utilize their health insurance cards.

The beneficiaries were grateful for the initiative and thanked the Executive Director for his generosity.
