Delta@34: Echero Tongue Lash Gov.Oborevwori, Says Delta At 34 Not Worth of Celebrating

*Condemned N39.3B flyover project in Ughelli

UGHELLI – A House of Representative hopeful for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general elections, Mr. Akpobome Echero has tongue lashed Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Delta at 34 celebration.

The House of Rep hopeful in a telephone chat with the Rainbow Newspaper linked Delta State at 34 to a child at 34 lacking good parental care and good home training.

While saying Delta State at 34 is not worth celebrating, he noted that most primary school pupils in the state are sitting on bare floor to write under dilapidated builds.

According to him, most of the internal link roads in Ughelli and other towns of Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu local government areas are in bad condition.

While condemning the N39.3 billion flyover at Ughelli the headquarters of Ughelli north local government area, he said, such money could be used to build companies and industries that would provide jobs for young graduates of Delta State who are roaming the streets of the state.

The house of representative hopeful advised Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, sons and daughters of Delta State in government to channel the hard earned resources of the state to projects that will facilitate the development of the state and transform it to the Delta of our dreams.

Echero stressed that the only thing the government of Delta State led by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori could provide Dekta State youths is illegal job amounting to multiple taxation on business owners and motorists plying roads of the state.
