UGHELLI – DETERMINED to deliver Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State come the 2027 general elections, the founder and national chairman of Ukodo nation, Olorogun Obaseki Morison Olori, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, inaugurated the Delta Central coordinator and LGAs coordinators.
Performing the inauguration at the Oil City Motel, Ughelli, Ughelli North local government area, he charged the coordinators to work hard to return Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to the government’s house come the 2027 elections.
Speaking during the occasion, an elder statesman and a stalwart of APC in Ughelli North, Prof. S. W Ibodje, charges the newly inaugurated LGAs coordinators to keep the ship sailing, noting that the rise and fall of Ukodo nation in their LGAs depends largely on their performance.
“Before you are selected they saw a capacity in you, and organization like this some of them that succeeded in the past do so because of people like you and those failed is because of the inability of some people that occupied the position you are occupying today so like Jesus Christ was told that the rise and fall of Israel is in His neck so the rise and magnitude of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in your local government areas come 2027 is in your neck.
“The rise, not fall, the extent of the scope of the rise of APC in your LGA, and the magnitude of votes and support for the president and the governor in your LGA lie largely on the role you play”.
Earlier, the founder, Chief Morison Olori, told the newly inaugurated coordinators that they are the leaders of tomorrow; they must work hard to deliver for Governor Oborevwori and carry all their members along in everything they do.
“Ukodo has tried for the Urhobo nation and Delta State as a whole; therefore, don’t go home and relax, go and work. Chief Olori charged them.
“Any Urhoboman or any man in Delta State who has seen what the governor has done and is still doing and yet still wants to challenge or humiliate him we will not pray for such a person, in the entire Delta State nobody should come out to contest with Governor Oborevwori a.k.a Ukodo, Ukodo he is the answer for Delta State because he has done well.
Responding on behalf of the LGAs Coordinators, the Ughelli North coordinator, Olorogun Anthony Ugbodume, commended the state chairman’s confidence he reposed in them, assuring that they will deliver on the mandate of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the Ukodo nation.
He promised to work with the state leaders, LGA leaders, men, women, and youths of the Ukodo nation to deliver Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections.
In their separate interview, the Delta central chairman, Chief Roy Oke, Ughelli north chairman, Olorogun Anthony Ugbodume, and Hon. Raymond Edijala (Udu coordinator) promised to work hard to deliver the duo of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governorship Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 general elections.
