*Commends Gov. Oborevwori’s Developmental Strides, Defection to APC

UGHELLI – Elders and Leaders of Ughelli ward 3/7, Ughelli North local government area Delta State today pass a vote of explicit confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, and Olorogun (Barr) Jaro Egbo the executive chairman of Ughelli north council.
The vote of explicit confidence was passed in the trio of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Hon. Jaro Egbo during the official movement of Ughelli North ward 3/7 PDP Elders/Leaders, Exco, and members of PDP to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The motion for the vote of explicit confidence was moved by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on project monitoring, Engr Jonathan Onoriode Evwierhurhoma, and seconded by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on security matters to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Amb. Emmanuel Esamagu.

Speaking to newsmen, the duo of the president general of Ughelli Descendent Union (UDU) Chief Samuel Akpemegi and Amb. Kingsley expresses profound gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for leading them to the All Progressives Congress at the national.
Akpemegi urged all Ughelli people and the entire Ughelli north with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for more dividends of democracy.

Also speaking to newsmen, Engr Jonathan Evwierhurhoma SSA to governor Sheriff Oborevwori on project monitoring.
According to him, a decision of the governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, to defect to the ruling party at the national at a time like this is commendable, adding that Delta State is now connected to the national.
“Deltans will feel the full impact of the President’s ‘Renew Hope Agenda’, and Governor Oborevwori’s “MORE AGENDA”.
Earlier, Elders and Leaders of former PDP Ughelli Ward 3/7 gave reasons for defecting to the main opposition party in the state, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
In a unanimous decision, elders, leaders, and members of the defunct PDP Ughelli Ward 3/7 agreed to move to the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Present at the meeting are former chieftains of defunct PDP, among them Chief Patrick Egone, Hon. Godwin Adode, Chief Samuel Akpemegi, and a host of others.
