UGHELLI – FORMER Delta State chairman of the Phase 3 Amnesty programme, also former national provost of Amnesty Phase 3, Gen. Kingsley Edirin Agas, has passed a vote of confidence on Tantita Security services and its management staff, slamming Chief Ese Gam-led Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) for his unguided press release.

The Ex-Urhobo Agitator condemned the leadership of UPU and its press release calling for the disbandment of the operation of Tantita Security services in Urhobo land, describing such a move as uncivilized and calculative attempts to cause mayhem and unrest between the Urhobos and their neighbouring ethnic communities.
According to him, Tompolo-led Tantita Security Service is a global security outfit well recognized by all right-thinking members of society globally that has earned him several national and international awards.

“Since inception of Tantita Security services operations in the oil reach region of Niger Delta the rate of oil theft and vandalization of oil installation has reduced tobias bearers minimum.
“Many communities kingdoms and communities of the Niger Delta region has benefited immensely from the operations of Tantita security service as many women and youths of Niger Delta particularly Urhobo and Isoko ethnic nationalities benefitted unquantifiable”.
Gen. Agas noticed with shock that some of the beneficiaries of the Tantita operation in Urhobo land are the same people calling for the disbandment of Tantita in Urhobo land.
He urged the federal government and the general public to disregard the Ese Gam-led UPU publication meant to cause disunity among the Urhobos and their neighbours.
