Pipeline Surveillance: Akpos Urges N/Deltans To Support Tantita Security Coy To Protect Oil Facilities

WARRI – Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s Executive Assistant, EA, on Oil and Gas matters, Chief Edafevwotu Akpos, has urged all Niger Delta youths from the oil-producing areas of the Niger Delta region to give full support to Tantita Security Services Limited to protect oil installations across the region.

Chief Akpos who is a one-time chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), in a press statement signed by him and made available to our correspondent wooed all youths from the oil-producing areas of the Niger Delta region to form synergy with Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, TSSNL, to protect oil facilities in their domain.

While emphasising the critical importance of protecting oil facilities in the region, he noted that it would boost the economy of the states in the region.

While commending the activities of Tantita Security Services in the region, he noted that the development strides and growth witnessed in the various states of the Niger Delta region are attributed to Tantita Security Services for protecting oil facilities since its operations in the region.

According to him, the increase in oil production has had a positive impact on the states of the Niger Delta region, contributing to their economic growth and development.

Akpos noted that supporting Tantita Security Services in protecting oil facilities aligns with the broader goals of the various states’ governments of the region and the federal government’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

His words, “Safeguarding oil infrastructure and promoting uninterrupted oil production, youths in the oil-producing communities of the Niger Delta region can contribute to the overall development of the States of the region and the nation at large, he noted.

Governor Oborevwori EA’s on Oil and Gas matters call on youths of the region underscores the importance of community engagement in securing vital economic assets and promoting sustainable development in oil-producing regions.
