PDP Convention: Akpodiete Congratulates Turaki (SAN) On His Emergency As PDP National Chairman

UGHELLI – A House of Representatives hopeful for Ughelli North/Ughelli South/Udu federal constituency in the forthcoming 2027 general elections and also a member of the PDP’s medical sub‑committee in the PDP 2025 elective national convention, Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete JP has expressed his heartfelt congratulation to the newly elected national chairman of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Turaki (SAN).

Akpodiete, in his congratulating message, said Turaki’s “emergency” is a reflection of the confidence and trust placed in his wealth of experience, integrity, and long‑standing commitment to national development.

His words: “As a former Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, he has distinguished himself through exemplary service, strategic leadership, and unwavering dedication to Nigeria’s progress.

“His new mandate comes at a critical moment, offering an opportunity to inspire unity, strengthen internal democracy, and reposition the People Democratic Party (PDP) for a greater impact”.

While expressing implicit confidence in him, Akpodiete said, Turaki’s deep governance knowledge will bring a renewed direction and purposeful leadership to the party.

He described the election as both a personal achievement and a milestone for all who believe in credible, visionary leadership.

Dr. Akpodiete wished the PDP national chairman, Kabiru Turaki (SAN) a successful and impactful tenure that will bring positive transformation that will foster a stronger, more united political landscape in the country.
