PAP: Kofa Rates Amb Ekpebide As Best Complementing Otuaro’s Intellectual Capacity Development Vision

WARRI – A seasoned journalist and a Niger Delta Public Relations expert, Comrade Kingsley Kofa at the weekend in Warri described the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) National Chairman, Ambassador Preye Ekpebide as a selfless personality, and the best ex-militant General complementing Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of (PAP) vision for Intellectual Capacity Development.

Kofa, fielding questions from journalists at a function in Warri, he rated the duo (PAP) Administrator, Dr Otuaro, and the Third Phase National Chairman of PAP, Amb. Ekpebide, highly. He noted that this was the first time, since the introduction of the PAP scholarship programme, that indigent creek-dwelling youths have had the opportunity to pursue an intellectual and visionary programme within and outside Nigerian universities.

Oriented leadership will continue to bring hope and transformation to the lives of the Niger Delta youths.

According to Kofa, Third Phase National Chairman of PAP, Amb Ekpebide, with thoughtful planning and his unwavering support to Dr Otuaro, his grassroots mobilization, and his constant advocacy for youth development and unity among ex-agitators had led to hundreds being admitted into so many Nigerian universities to pursue their dreams.

Speaking further, he stated that Dr Otuaro has proven over time that Education is the bedrock of any society, the greatest gift for life and empowerment adding, Amb Ekpebide keying into that vision had brought credibility, sincerity and genuineness to PAP scharlarship programme.

He described the duo of Otuaro’s Leadership in PAP and Amb Ekpebide, National Chairman of PAP, as a turning point in the history of the programme, reiterated that in the near future, the Niger Delta Region would be a hub of intellectual capacity as a gainful result of the PAP scholarship program.


Kofa, however, enjoined Dr Otuaro to sustain his vision for human capital building in entrepreneurship, skill acquisition to better the lives of ex-agitators. He held that skill-building is an important part of human development, urging Dr Otuaro to also explore other administrative skills acquisition programmes for the ex-agitators.
