••As NFSS Delta Commandant, Obokohwemue charges Officers on discipline

UGHELLI – Nigerian Forest Security Services, NFSS, has renewed its commitment to make Nigeria’s giles free of bandits and social vices in no distant time.

The Deputy Commandant General (DCG) of Nigeria’s Forests Security Services (Special Duties), DCG. Sunday Silver Ojakovo JP assured Ughelli during the grand finale of a five-day capacity building training organised for the officers and men of Nigeria’s Forests Security Services at Government College, Ughelli, Delta State.

While sending a note of warning to criminals occupying Nigeria’s forests to leave immediately or they should prepare to face a total showdown, he reiterated the readiness of the operatives of NFSS to wipe out bandits from Nigeria’s forests soon.

“Criminals hiding in Nigeria’s forests to carry out their nefarious activities are advised to leave the forests immediately or else they should be ready for a total showdown in no distant time.

“We are only waiting for official instructions from President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to strike and flush out criminal enemies hiding in the country’s forests to carry out their criminal activities.
“They are advised in their interest to leave before the evil days, as gallant officers and men of NFSS are much more ever ready for an assignment ahead of them.
Earlier in his closing remarks, he thanked all officers and men of NFSS for their high level of discipline and professionalism during the training.

While thanking the resource personnel for quality lectures, he noted that the lectures and training impacted the officers and men of NFSS, and will reawaken the readiness of NFSS to secure and flush out criminals from the country’s forests.

DCG Ojakovo charged officers and men of NFSS to put all the training and lectures received into practice, adding that the security of Nigeria’s forests is in their hands.
“Our ungoverned forests are our business, go and secure the forests of the nation, forests in our communities, and our domains. You are the one who knows them, go and secure them”.

Meanwhile, while describing the five-day capacity-building training as an impactful one, the Delta State Commandant of NFSS, Commandant Jonathan Obokohwemu debunked the unverified news on social medias alleging members of NFSS goes to roads to exhort money from motorists and vehicles plying the roads of the state, he denied the involvement of NFSS officers and men. He urged the public to identify his officers and men with their uniforms. All uniform officers are not NFSS members, other sister security agencies also use black uniform.

On his part, Larry Chukwudi Odili of the intelligence department of NFSS thanked the Commandant General of NFSS, CG.Amb. O.Joshual, all state and national officers of NFSS for creating the enabling environment for the training.

He expressed the readiness of the intelligence department of NFSS to provide useful intelligent gathering informations for the gallant officers to succeed in their operations.
