UGHELLI – The Executive Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, Delta State, Hon. Dagidi Rawlings Andaye, bagged the prestigious award of Best Performing Local Government Chairman in Nigeria by an Abuja-based Time Africa Association of Nigerian Students, NANS.

The Time Africa Magazine Editor-in-Chief Okorie speaking at National Merit House Abuja posited as its coporate responsibility to Nigerians and Africa at large, individuals, politicians, business moguls, religious leaders and youth organisation that distinguished itself would be identified and be awarded for encouragement and for others to emulate.

He further enjoined other recipients of awards to keep the flag flying, adding that through their stewardship, the society will be a better place for living and growth. Okorie also explained that as a media Organization, the outfit owed it as its responsibility to expose the ills of society and seek accountability from the government at all levels in the Country.

In the same event, the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, also awarded a prestigious title of “Icon and Cynosure of Societal Transformation” to Andaye for his growing national influence and unwavering commitment to good governance.
Fielding questions from journalists shortly after the event, Andaye gave thanks to God Almighty for his wisdom surrounding his policies, driven by his offering of his stewardship to his people of the Bomadi Council Area of Delta State.
He also thanked Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, for giving him the role of leadership as Chairman of Council to further drive his renewed hope agenda in the Bomadi Council area.

Andaye reaffirmed his resolve to do more in terms of human and capital development in his Council Area while urging the people to be continually peaceful to attract more development to the Bomadi local government area of Delta State.
