Bomadi First Lady Donates Educational Kits To Delta State Schools In The Creeks

BOMADI – In compliance with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, the First Lady of Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon Mrs Rejoice Andaye has donated thousands of Educational kits to schools in Bomadi Creeks as the 2025 flood began to recede.

The First Lady, Rejoice-Andaye, who led her team to criss-cross the creeks of the council, visited the public Primary schools in the council area, including Ekade Primary School, Esanma; Epiekiri Primary School, Ogbeinama; and Ebikeniye Primary School, Kpakiama.
Addressing the staff and pupils of Ekade Primary School, Esanma, she explained that the flood had kept pupils and learners away from school for some time, and added that it prompted the need to assist parents and guardians to re-equip learners.

She stated that the motive was aimed at creating a better life for families across the nation, especially rural families, and that the initiative is being championed by the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori in Delta State.
She enjoins Head teacher, teachers, and parents to take the Educational journey of their pupils seriously, noting that traveling through the creeks, rivers, and navigating difficult terrain did not deter teachers from their environment to impact knowledge, stressed that the future of their children was in their hands.
Educational materials presented at the schools visited were: notebooks, school bags, a pen, and other learning materials.

Andaye further explained that the gesture was in line with the Back-to-School Program of Nigeria’s First Lady, and the initiative was coordinated through the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.

Mrs. Andaye commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori for their visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to improving lives at the grassroots level. She praised both for complementing their husbands’ efforts in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda and the MORE Agenda in Delta State.


Further addressing the pupils, she encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined, and self-aware. She urged them to make education a top priority, to respect their teachers and parents, and to always conduct themselves in good manners.
“School is not a scam, as some wrongly believe. Education opens doors of opportunity and is the surest path to a successful and meaningful life.”
The head teachers and pupils of the benefiting schools expressed profound gratitude to the First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, the First Lady of Delta State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori, and Hon. Mrs. Rejoice Andaye for their thoughtfulness in extending the Renewed Hope Initiative to rural schools.
