•Unanimously endorsed Tinubu and Omo-Agege as the sole Presidential and Governorship candidates of the constituency

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, elders and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ughelli North Constituency 1 have passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. DSP Ovie Omo-Agege urged them to run for the 2027 general election as president and governor.
APC Ughelli North Elders and Leaders passed the unanimous confidence votes on President Tinubu and DSP Omo-Agege during a well-attended meeting of Ughelli North Constituency 1, APC Elders and Leaders held on September 25, 2025.
While passing a unanimous vote of confidence on the duo of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege for their sterling qualities and leadership, they commended Sen. Omo-Agege for his infrastructural attraction from the federal government to not just his Senatorial district of Delta Central but to Delta State at large.
Ughelli North APC elders and leaders praise President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for resolving some constitutional imbalances, such as the elimination of joint accounts between states and local governments, whereby local governments now receive allocations directly from the Federal Account.
APC Ughelli North constituency 1, in a press release signed by its Publicity Secretary, Mr Amos Osioma, called on the duo of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege to indicate his interest to recontest for the governorship election of Delta State come 2027, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to run for president in the 2027 general elections.
