Ughelli North Constituency II: Umurhohwo Gives Reason For Contesting
*Says accessibility, visibility and impactfulness are his focal points

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for Ughelli North Constituency II in the forthcoming general elections, Mr Oke Umurhohwo, has given reasons why he joined the race to represent the good people of Ughelli North Constituency II at the Delta State House of Assembly in 2027.
Umurhohwo who addressed the PDP faithful recently said his reasons for gunning for the seat of Ughelli North Constituency II at the Delta State House of Assembly are to give the constituency a meaningful representation that will impact the lives of the constituents.
According to him, if elected he will run an inclusive government and door polices and his doors will be open for discussions that will change the narrative of the constituency.
While assuring that he will run a transparent government, he said, I am in this race because I believe representation can be more visible, more accessible and more impactful for our people in Ughelli North Constituency II.
“My manifesto is simple and this is what Ughelli North Constituency II should expect, accessible representation, quarterly town hall meetings, constituency updates, and an active local office where people can be heard and attended to. Representation should not be distant”, He noted.
While assuring job creation and employment opportunities for teaming youths and women of the constituency if elected, he assured that his office will provide youth & economic opportunities by using his office to connect the youths of the constituency to real opportunities, jobs, skills, and partnerships. I will leverage my network locally and internationally to open doors.
Umurhohwo assured further that if elected he will bring strong legislative contributions and bills that will directly improve education, healthcare, and ease of doing business within our constituency.
“I will engage my constituents in monthly radio engagement and open channels where constituents can ask questions and get feedback. People deserve to know what their representative is doing.
“I will engage in practical community projects focused on interventions that would touch lives directly, especially in education, empowerment, and local infrastructure”.
He added that he will bring his over ten years of experience as a marketing professional spanning across the shores of Nigeria to the floor of the Delta State House of Assembly to create job opportunities amid at reducing unemployment in the state.
