DELTA 2027: Ex-Ughelli North Boss, Osikorobia Donates Party Secretariat To PDP
•Says PDP will be stronger come 2027

UGHELLI – Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the former chairman of Ughelli North council, Hon. George Osikorobia, has donated a party secretariat to the main opposition party in Delta State, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Osikorobia made the donation yesterday at Afieser-Ughelli in Ughelli North local government area during the meeting of the Forum of Ughelli North PDP units chairmen with elders and leaders of PDP in the council area.

While addressing the mammoth crowd, he disclosed that those who left the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC) do so because they are afraid of tomorrow, and they feel that in APC, there is where food is. Even when there is uncertainty in the new party they run to.

While acknowledging that his political party, PDP, is engulfed in political challenges, he assured the PDP faithful and remnants of his full support, adding that they will never regret remaining in the party.
“I came here to stand by you, PDP is going to be stronger come 2027, I will make PDP a classical political party in Delta State, you will regret remaining in PDP, go home, Osikorobia is solidly behind you”, he assured.

Also speaking at the well-attended Forum meeting, PDP units chairmen, a House of Representatives hopeful aspirant for Ughelli North, South, and Udu federal constituency, Hon. Dr. Olotu Akpodiete JP, who was represented by Hon. Ovo Erhabor, thanked the units chairmen for their resilience and hard work.

While assuring the party faithful that PDP will overcome its current challenges in no distant time, he urged the unit chairmen to sensitize the electorates on the importance of getting their voters’ cards, adding that it is crucial for the party’s success in 2027.
Earlier,  in his welcome speech, the coordinator of the Ughelli North units chairman forum,  North chapter, led by Coach Charles Waxco Tuedor, thanked the PDP LGA chairman, Hon. Daniel Emaye, for his sagacity and proactiveness in reviving and restructuring the party in Ughelli North and Delta State as a whole.
The duo of  Hon. Pastor Stephen Kesiena Nomuoja and Hon. Daniel Emaye present at the meeting commended the unit chairmen for their unwavering efforts and commitments towards the party’s growth.
They urged the units chairmen to always remain steadfast and continue to work towards the success party come the 2027 general elections.
