UGHELLI – Chieftain of People Democratic Party in Ughelli North local government area of Delta State, Olorogun (Barr) Fred Okiemute Majemite, has commended the Ughelli North Council boss, Olorogun (Barr.) Omovudu Jaro Egbo for his developmental strides and groundbreaking of the council Ultra-Modern secretariat building.

Chief Majemite expressed his heart-fed joy while speaking to newsmen at Ughelli on the achievement of Hon. Jaro Egbo since his inception in office as the executive chairman of Ughelli North Council less than a year ago.

According to him, the Ultra-Modern Secretariat, when finished and commissioned for use, will not only generate employment for the teeming youths and women of the council but will restore the lost glory of the council.
Majemite noted that as the oldest local government area in Delta Central Senatorial district and the capital of Delta Central Senatorial district, it will reposition the status of the Urhobo of Delta State.

Majemite enjoined all political stakeholders, irrespective of political diversity in the council area, to collaborate with the council chairman to build and move the council to its enviable position.

Majemite Eulogy, the executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for giving a conducive environment for the council chairman to operate and carry out people-oriented projects in the council area.

“On behalf of the good people of Ughelli North Council, I sincerely congratulate you on this historical event and your vision to transform the council area beyond where you met it,” he stated.
