*DIG3 choice is based on capability, fairness, and equity says DIG3 national coordinator, Chief Ojaurhobo

UGHELLI – As the constituents of Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency are in search of a capable hand to represent them at the Nigerian Green chamber come the 2027 general election, a political pressure group in Delta State, “Delta Integrity Group for Good Governance (DIG3)” said Olorogun (Dr) Christopher Obiuwevbi Ominimini is the man to beat come the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to a cross section of newsmen at Ughelli, the national coordinator of the group, Chief Ekwetafia Jacob Ojaurhobo, revealed that the DIG3 vox pop survey indicates that out of the numerous Urhobo sons and daughters secretly and openly, including those purportedly endorsed by some unpatriotic Urhobos aspiring for the HoR come 2027, Rt. Hon. Chief (Dr) Christopher Emaye Obiuwevbi Ominimini scored high in DIG3 pull.
Ojaurhobo in his assertion, noted that the group carefully takes a survey of the known aspirants for now, considers their political, social, cultural, educational, and leadership pedigree in the past and present, and found Ominimini as the one the cap fits.
“We conducted a political survey in the Ughelli ‘3Us’ to project to the entire Urhobos the best person to represent them at the House of Representatives, Senate, and other elective positions in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
“The choice of Ominimini as the next Reps member for Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu federal constituency was christened on fairness and equity.
According to him, “The House of Representatives seat for the Ughelli North, Ughelli South, and Udu local government areas belong to four state constituencies (Ughelli Constituency 1 & II, Ughelli South state constituency, and Udu state constituency) made up of one federal constituency.
“For fairness and equity, Udu, Ughelli South, and Ughelli II constituencies have produced House of Representatives members, but Ughelli North Constituency 1 has not produced a House of Representatives member.
“Udu, Ughelli South and Ughelli II constituencies have produced House of Representatives members, but Ughelli North constituency 1 has not produced a House representative member where Ominimini hails from; on equity, fair play, and justice, DIG3 considered the choice of Ominimini most appropriate”.
It would be recalled that Ominimini is the former presidential campaign coordinator for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu in Delta Central, also the governorship coordinator for the Delta Central senatorial district in the last general elections. He is currently national spokesman/national publicity secretary of Pan Niger Development Forum (PANDEF) doubled chief adviser to the senate president, Sen. Godswill Akpabio on Niger Delta matters.
While expressing explicit confidence in him, the group, DIG3 said, “If given the opportunity, he has the interpersonal relationship to relate well with his friends and colleagues at the national assembly to bring back the dividend of democracy to the soil of the constituencies, the people’s stomach, and their lives.

“He has the temerity, boldness, courage, competence, and perseverance to represent the Urhobo people, the Urhobo people will benefit from his representation”.
It would be recalled that in 2027, Rt. Hon. Chief (Dr) Christopher Emaye Obiuwevbi Ominimini in April 2025 declared his intention to run for the seat of the HoR for Ughelli North, Ughelli, and Udu federal constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
