*PDP will produce a youthful governorship candidate to reclaim power – Dr. Akpodiete

UDU – Countdown to the 2027 general elections, Ughelli North, South, and Udu (U3) People Democratic Party (PDP) youths passed a vote of confidence in Hon. Dr. Olotu Akpodiete as the sole House of Representatives candidate of the party for the 2027 general elections.
The motion for the endorsement and a vote of confidence on Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete JP as the sole House of Representatives Candidate for the party in 2027 was moved by Ughelli South LGA youth leader, Hon. Stephen Ashiemuke, and seconded by Engr. Benedict Onovughakpor, Ughelli North LGA Youth Leader.
The vote of confidence in Dr. Akpodiete was passed during an empowerment and leadership summit organised by Dr. Olotu Akpodiete at Otor-Jeremi Civic Center, Otor-Jeremi, Ughelli South LGA, Delta State.
The House of Representatives hopeful for Ughelli and Udu federal constituency, Hon. Dr. Olotu Otemu Akpodiete JP, in his welcome address, encouraged the youths to work together as a team in preparation for the 2027 election, adding that PDP will produce a youthful governorship candidate to reclaim power from APC in Delta State.
In his speech the Acting Chairman of PDP Ughelli South LGA, Olorogun Godwin Akpokemerha
assured members that PDP will reclaim its stolen mandate in 2027 saying that PDP is alive, vibrant, and active in Ughelli South.
Meanwhile, the former chairman of PDP Ughelli North, Pst Kesiena Nomuoja, charged the youths to produce sellable candidates in 2027, emphasizing that PDP is a reformed party despite defections.
The event was attended by notable leaders and youths, including Ughelli North PDP Chairman, Hon. Daniel Emaye, U3 Media Ambassadors Chairman, Amb. Comrade Kpoharor Emmanuel, Chief James Shaguolo, Chief Dennis Obodje.
Others are; Comrade Ochuko Erhiakpore, Kosie Frank, Igho Oku, Peter Ejihwobu, Akudo Julius, Ogheneovo Simon, Rukevwe Benedict, Okotie John, Freeborn Shageni, Timothy Ogadje, and Dolor Sunday.
